This digitally painted series explores the feeling of being torn apart. Fragmentary elements play a key role. Seemingly discovered poster remnants found on the street, or translucent, carelessly pasted-over remnants, become the subject of this series and are placed in new contexts. What effect does this societal feeling of being torn apart do on us?
It is particularly noticeable during the transitional phases of our lives, such as the transition to adulthood or during important life decisions.

What is on the table in front of me? That is what these illustrations are about. It's a very simple question, yet we often forget the beauty found in small things. A plate or a cup, seemingly placed there at random, becomes, upon closer inspection, a little story in itself. A silent poet.
